Media Mover Version 2 User Guide
Media Mover is a software program that:
- Copies and organizes files captured by a Mission Cam system in preparation for their conversion into a panorama using VideoStitch.
- Joins large files together if GoPro has truncated them because of size limits.
- Converts videos into time lapse videos.
- Converts image sequences into time lapse videos, image sequences can also be edited.
- Converts single still images into short videos so they can be imported into VideoStitch.
To copy files using Media Mover, follow the simple steps below:
- Insert the SD cards from Mission Cam cameras into the USB Hub
- Connect the USB to your Mission Edit laptop and start Media Mover
- Select a file type and a process as shown in the adjacent figure.

Videos | Copy videos | Organises the videos into "takes" and groups them together in folders |
Videos | Video to Time Lapse Video | As "Copy Videos" but the video speed can be changed using this method, and less frames can be shown to reduce movement and wobble. |
Images | Still Images to Time Lapse Video | Turns images into a video file, displaying each one for a certain duration |
Image Sequence | Image Sequence to Time Lapse Video | If "Time Lapse" mode was used on Mission Cam, this will allow you to import them as one flowing video. |
